“What stories could be more inspiring, adventurous, or educational than the true stories of our world’s heroic non-profits?”

Studies show higher-than-average scores among students who reported more types of reading material at home. So, it’s true – reading to your children does raise smarter kids. But as your children grow, reading topics need to grow too. Books are about more than just giving your child something to read. Their purpose is to fill your child’s mind with adventure, joy and wisdom.

We’re Treehouse Publishing Group. We take non-profit topics and transform them into thought-provoking books that your child will find entertaining, inspiring and empowering.

“Together we can raise up future generations to be wiser, more empathetic and dedicated to positive change.”

What a great look into one K9s journey to becoming a police K9! Chessie has some ups and downs on his road but it all comes together in the end with a new mom and new job as an explosive detection k9! Such a cute story for any age!

Think Non-Profits Do Little? Think Again!

In 2019, for the first time, nonprofit employment equaled manufacturing in the U.S. It came to be that retail trade and accommodation and food services were the only U.S. industries that employed more people than not-for-profits.

Thriving non-profits exist across so many fields – health, education, social, religious, civic, environmental, arts and even recreation.  So, it doesn’t take a long post here to get one thinking about the impact non-profits have not only on their particular mission but also on their local community and the people employed by them.

I am the first person to throw up a $10 spot in the name of helping a fuzzy stray pet in need.  As a matter of fact, that is exactly what got us started on the path to making aid to non-profits part of our business plan. And even then, I didn’t realize how much non-profits do BEYOND just helping that dog or cat, feeding the homeless, etc… they create a web of stability in each community that extends far beyond that immediate need they advertise in their social media post (ie: picture that injured dog’s medical bill).

Some of the non-profits we support include: Paws Of Honor | New Leash On Life | Shriner’s Hospitals for Children | and more…
